I first read this book back in 2012, as a Kindle book. I loved it so much I bought a physical copy of it, even thought I hadn’t gotten around to re-reading it up until it was chosen as our December book for a book club I’m in. That was then extended to January, because who has time to read in December?! This is why I always fail in my reading challenges…I think I have a whole month to catch up when really I have no time at all. What was I talking about? Oh, The Night Circus.

I <3 this book, for real. I read a few low reviews of it before I started it back up this go around, and the main issue seems to be a lack of plot. Which I don’t think is fair. But, whatever, they’re allowed to be losers while all us awesome people can go on enjoying awesome things. 8P It’s true that this book doesn’t have an intense plot, and the author does spend a lot of time describing things. But…the things she describes are so worth the details!! This is the kind of book I (try to) read slowly, to really absorb all the little details. Anyway, I love it, and you should, too!
