Smoothie Review: Antioxidant Chia/Berry Smoothie

So when I was putting all the ingredients together for this I decided to double the recipe so there would be enough for Mr. T…and then that didn’t seem like enough, so I doubled it again (trying to increase it 3x made math too hard) and….I made a lot of smoothie. >.< I’ve linked the original source above, but this is what I did:

Recipe:
4 cups frozen mixed berries (we used blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries)
2 cups unsweetened pomegranate juice
2 cups water
2 Tbsp chia seeds

This wasn’t terrible…but it was a bit too tart for me. It also made sooooo much smoothie. I had a hard time finishing mine, and Mr. T didn’t finish his. And there were so many seeds! They cemented themselves to our glasses. Mr. T isn’t the best at rinsing his cups, so his is still soaking (aka I don’t want to scrub it). If I ever do make this one again, I’m going to try to add something to sweeten it a bit. Maybe use a fruit juice instead of water? I dunno.
