What trip! This book was…beautiful, and depressing, and almost happy, but mostly sad. I know there have been some complaints about the authenticity of it, or the fact that a Western male wrote about such a very Eastern female role, but whatever. I loved it. While it may not be 100% accurate, I do know women have had to deal with some pretty miserable existences in the past, and stories like this really make me appreciate the time and place I live in. There were several great quotes that made me wish I had the Kindle version, so I could highlight and save them! Ah, well. :)
