Getting to Know You, Part 2

50 Questions to Get to Know Someone

“What If…”

  1. If you could throw any kind of party, what would it be like and what would it be for?
    • Hmm… I don’t know. One full of all the coolest celebrities that would then become my friend and let me hang out with them all the time. I personally don’t need to be famous, I just want to be friends with famous people. Even secret friends! I won’t tell anyone – just hang out with me!!!
  2. If you could paint a picture of any scenery you’ve seen before, what would you paint?
    • Man, if I could legit paint something that didn’t look terrible, I don’t care what it was! Oh – movie idea: someone who can paint incredibly realistic scenes, but they’re all of something the person hates….like a vegetarian painting raw meat or something.
  3. If you could choose to stay a certain age forever, what age would it be?
    • Ooohh…trixy! I’m going to go ahead with somewhere in my mid-20s. I definitely don’t want to get stuck in angsty-teenager mode for eternity.
  4. If you knew the world was ending in 2015, what would you do differently?
    • I’d probably quit my job. Spend a TON of time with my family. Travel as much as possible. But all of that is directly related to the fact that I don’t have to worry about money or my future anymore.
  5. If you could choose anyone, who would you pick as your mentor?
    • Oh goodness. Future me, because hindsight be 20/20.
  6. If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be?
    • Hmm…maybe my grandparents’ wedding? I don’t know…I can’t think of any amazing answer to this.
  7. If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
    • Be motivated to always do my best, and to always be content with what I have (yet always striving for better).
  8. If you had to work on only one project for the next year, what would it be?
    • I would love to be able to focus my “work” hours on getting Two-Tone up and running.
  9. If you were immortal for a day, what would you do?
    • Just for a day?? I guess at that point you’d just do really reckless things. Ooohhh….go down to the very bottom of the ocean! Or all the way up into space!
  10. If you had to change your first name, what would you change it to?
    • Oh goodness, I don’t know. Would a rose by any other name smell as sweet??
  11. If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet?
    • I dunno. I’d prefer to meet a living person, because then you could continue to grow the relationship, you know? I’d hate to resurrect a dead person and be like “Yo, once this conversation is over, you’re gonna be dead again.” And I don’t care to meet anyone politically important (world leaders, etc.) because that would put too much pressure on me explaining what “the little guy” needs. I’m not good enough with the word speaking for something like that. So…probably a celebrity. Be my fran, celebrity. Be my fran…
  12. If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?
    • Pay off my house. NO DEBT.
  13. If you were reincarnated as an animal/drink/ice cream flavor, what would it be?
    • Why in the name of all that is good and right in the world would you want to come back as a drink or ice cream flavor?? Who came up with these questions?? I chooooooose….a dog.
  14. If you could know the answer to any question, besides “What is the meaning of life?”, what would it be?
    • What is going on inside my husband’s brain at any given moment?
  15. If you could be any fictional character, who would you choose?
    • Elizabeth Bennet because helloooooo – Mr. Darcy!

  1. I have answered the lottery question before in much the same way. I like to think it suggest maturity and responsibility that we choose to pay back what we owe instead of blowing it on a tropical vacation or something. Even though I definitely want a tropical vacation.

Tell me how you REALLY feel:
