AT January Cure #9: Work on Your Project

Hey! It’s Time to (Fill in the Blank)

Spend some time on the project that you selected last week and move it forward, or even complete it, if possible. If you’ve already completed your project, you can catch up on anything else you feel behind on. If you are feeling good about your progress, enjoy the well-earned day off!

Wait. Why would we have already completed our project? Wat?

I have not finished my project. If you don’t remember, my goal was to paint the janky trim in our upstairs hallway/landing/what have you. But before I do that, I really needed to finish my closet. So that’s what I did tonight! Seriously, you guys…it’s so embarrassing. I’ve probably spent more time stressing over finishing that thing than it took to actually do it. Including taping two spots, I had it done in under 30 minutes. Maybe even 15, I’m bad with keeping track of time. 5 minutes! An hour! I have no idea!! I still need to get the canvas “carpet” in there, but since Mr. T put that giant yellow dresser in I can’t do any of that without some man help. “I’m such a weak female – helllllp meeeee…”

Anyway, the closet painting is finished. Booyeah! I didn’t take any pictures, because it was just a little sliver of white that needed to be added. If you want to see the closet debacle journey from the beginning, clicky here. If you want some great footage of the smidge of unpainted walls I’ve had left to do for…at this point it’s months…you can watch my riveting home tour video.

Tell me how you REALLY feel:
